PETER, Minn. – Jarraff Industries recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot addition to its main assembly building, which will add three new manufacturing lines and as many as 30 new jobs when completed late in 2018. The addition is one piece of a project, which already includes a new paint booth and numerous equipment upgrades. The expansion will also encompass 35,000 square feet of new building space, add five additional acres to its St. Peter campus, and include a dedicated 10,000-square-foot parts and service building, as well as a 5,000-square-foot finished machine storage facility by the end of 2018.

PETER, Minn. –Designed for land clearing and vegetation management, the updated Geo-Boy Brush Cutter Tractor from Jarraff Industries is available with two standard tier III engine options, 220 hp and 250 hp. A 260 hp engine option has recently been made available for the wheeled Geo-Boy model at no additional cost.
The updated Geo-Boy also incorporates several new features including a rear back up camera with alarm that provides operators with a clear view and warning of obstacles behind the unit, cab mounted inclinometers for operating the unit on grades or slopes and a door launch sensor prevents the cutter head from engaging if the door is not securely closed and in operating position. In addition, the Geo-Boy has been outfitted with a fire extinguisher compartment that can accommodate two 20-lb. ABC rated fire extinguishers.

The updated Mini-Jarraff Rear Lot Trimmer from Jarraff Industries improves trailering efficiency. A new auto-trailering mode allows users to quickly adjust both the front and rear wheels to the exact width needed for trailering. After the width specifications of the trailer are input into the control panel, a push button control automatically adjusts the Mini-Jarraff’s wheel width to meet the exact trailer requirements. The Mini-Jarraff can then be loaded onto the trailer quickly and easily, and transported to the next job site.
The remote controlled Mini-Jarraff offers a dynamic range of operation with 55-feet of vertical reach, a 360-degree range of rotation and utilizes a patent pending 180 rotating saw head capable of precise horizontal cutting and tree topping.
The Geo-Boy Brush Cutter 4×4 model from Jarraff Industries, St. Peter, Minn., recently received ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structures) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structures) certification. The certification announcement comes after a lengthy testing and evaluation process.
Jarraff President/CEO Heidi Boyum explains that the certifications are significant for existing Geo-Boy owners, as well as prospective customers. She said,
“The ROPS and FOPS certifications can be applied retroactively for Geo-Boy Brush Cutters produced since 2004.
